A New Commitment to Weight Loss

As shared in this weeks’ IMNatural newsletter, this past Monday I renewed my commitment to weight loss. I’ll be posting my successes and struggles in my quest to lose 60 lbs (or so).  Now looking at this number, I think I’ll break it down into smaller increments, just to avoid overwhelming myself.

My first goal stage will be 20 lbs by May 21st.  (3 months), and now I’m officially accountable to a few people.  If you are traveling your own journey to weight loss as well, or are interested in getting started, please share with me and maybe we can motivate each other!!

The journey begins with 3 tools in the tool belt…

1. For breakfast every morning:  Chocolate 24/7 Meal Replacement.
2. Phentramin-d: 20 minutes before breakfast, and 20 minutes before lunch.
3. TurboFire – 90 Day Workout Program - 10 DVD’s so I can work out in the privacy of my own living room each morning.

If you are following a weight loss program of your own, please…please join me and share what’s working for you.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Officially, week 1 is completed, and today is the first day of week 2.  I’ve lost 4 lbs. YIPEEE!!!!!!  More interesting… I actually feel like my body is getting stronger and I definitely have more energy.  (can you believe that???? After just one week of modifications.)

I will confess, I did waver slightly on the diet plan.  I love white bread with butter and had 2 slices with chili this week. (I know, I know…it’s a weakness!!! but I don’t foresee ever eliminating that…or creamer from my coffee.) I figure, this time, I’m NOT cutting out EVERYTHING I love, because I’ll just return to the same habits.  So I’m allowing myself some of the forbidden, and enjoying them.  Another problem I believe… I did NOT write down what I ate, so my calorie counting will need to start in the coming days.

The Phentramin-d, appears to be making it easier for me to get through the day with more energy.  So glad I dont’ get jittery using this…and it appears to also be reducing my hunger pangs. I actually am making myself eat every few hours.

As expected, I am struggling with water intake, I will continue to work on that.

The TurboFire workouts have been pleasantly challenging. I’ve followed the workout chart and will continue to do so.  The low impact modifications are still a good workout and they are safer for my knees.  NanaFlex helps with any inflammation, but I don’t want to injure myself. Once the weight continues to drop, I foresee being able to do the full impact workout.  Struggling to keep up with some parts of the routines, I’m so glad no-one sees me, I’m sure I look ridiculous!! LOL.  The fun thing….there are 10 different workouts, so it’s a bit different every day,  I’m sure it will become easier.

Getting up to workout this morning was a bit tough, and I almost didn’t do the workout…but I’m so glad that I did. I feel good knowing I pushed through even when I really didn’t want to.   Breakfast today: Vanilla 24/7 meal replacement, blended with some fresh strawberries and almond milk…YUM!!

If you’re on a new weight loss journey as well, please let me know what you’re doing that works for you!!!
