1) Lightly mist your Foundation Brush with Neroli Mist and dab lightly into foundation (Do Not Overload) apply on face until desired coverage is achieved.

NEROLI BACKGROUND
Just a few facts for the curious among you. Neroli oil is extracted from the small, white, waxy flowers of the bitter-orange tree by steam distillation. And Neroli oil has a poetic past. Named for a region of Nerola, Italy, it was made popular during the 17th century by Anne Marie de la Trémoille (Orsini), who was duchess of Bracciano and Princess of Nerola. Anne Marie first introduced Neroli oil as a fashionable fragrance to high society. She used it in her bath and also to perfume her stationary, scarves and most famously, her gloves. It takes between 500 to 1000 pounds of Neroli Orange blossoms to make pound of Neroli oil. Of interest may be that Neroli Oil is a flavor ingredient in the famous proprietary Coca Cola formula.

Neroli oil is very relaxing and can relieve chronic anxiety, depression, fear, shock, hopelessness and stress and its calming effect can also be beneficial to the digestive tract. It can be used for intestinal spasms, colitis and diarrhea. Salvatore Battaglia notes in The Complete Guide to Aromatherapy: “The oil is reputed to have a rejuvenating effect on the skin, as it has an ability to stimulate the growth of new and healthy cells”.

Neroli Essential Oil Botanical Name: Citrus aurantium
Common Uses: Neroli oil increases circulation and stimulates new cell growth. It can prevent scarring and stretch marks, and has been found useful in treating skin conditions linked to emotional stress. All types of skin can benefit from Neroli essential oil, although it is great for dry, irritated, sensitive or aging skin. It regulates oiliness and minimizes enlarged pores. Neroli oil helps to clear acne and blemished skin, especially if the skin lacks moisture. With regular treatment, it can reduce the appearance of fragile, broken or varicose capillaries. Note: These last two paragraphs are about the essential Neroli oil, not about Neroli Mist. Neroli Oil is the active ingredient of Neroli Mist.
